Sea Palms Resort offers 27 holes of golf with three distinct nines, Tall Pines, Great Oaks and West. The courses are set amongst towering pines, stately oaks and several marsh views. The courses were designed by George Cobb & Tom Jackson and were totally renovated in early 2000. Rick Irwin is the Director of Golf and the club offers top of the line equipment and apparel. As seen on The Golf Channel, The McGladrey Classic has become a fun filled week of events typically held on the third weekend of October. Founded by native Davis Love, III, this tournament supports the Davis Love Foundation and many of the non-profit organizations in Glynn County and the surrounding area. Beautiful weather, great audiences, and now a FEDEX Point Challenge Tournament, there is no better time to see St. Simons Island and the Golden Isles of Georgia.
