Take a walk on the wild side with one of our nature guides! Explore the islands untamed natural areas - the salt marsh, the sandy beach, and the maritime forest -all abundant with indigenous critters, plants and trees for you to discover. Or sign on for a sea turtle watch if you'd like to meet a loggerhead. For a more civilized experience, don't forget the landscape tour. Or just do it all!

These popular programs begin with a brief introduction to the natural history of sea turtles, followed by a beach walk to search out these fascinating creatures and their nests!

Spend a morning exploring the coastal Georgia environment,
either in the marsh or on the beach.

Marsh Walk:
Adults: $ 5.00
Ages 8 - 18: $ 3.00
(Maximum charge per family is $ 25.00)
Monday tours meet at 9 AM at the Clam Creek Picnic Parking Area
(on the northern tip of Jekyll Island)
Beach Walks:
Adults: $ 5.00
Ages 8 - 18: $ 3.00
(Maximum charge per family is $ 25.00)

Wednesday tours meet at 9 AM at the St. Andrews Picnic Parking Area
(on the southern tip of Jekyll Island)
Friday tours meet at 9 AM at the South Dunes Picnic Parking Area
(just south of the Holiday Inn on Jekyll)

Live Oaks and More!

Stroll through the Historic District and learn about the majestic live oaks and other plants making up the landscape design of the Jekyll Island Club era.
